My fees will vary depending on the services which you request.

Research Services

For any services where research is necessary, prices start at $25 per hour.  This includes lineage research, document retrieval where data is unknown, etc.  One hour is the base fee.  I will only charge more if the service takes more than an hour.  However, I do require a deposit of 20% of the total, with a minimum of $25, if more than one hour is required.  I will work within any client's budget, though results may vary depending on the available resources.  If unforeseen circumstances necessitate a higher cost than expected, after work has begun, I will notify the client prior to continuing.

In general, I will not charge any travel expenses within the state of Maryland or Washington, D. C.  Please contact for any research necessary outside of this area.

Document Retrieval/Transcription Services

For any services where no research is necessary, such as transcription or specific document retrieval, prices start at $5/document, plus actual copy costs.  Transcription will be a flat rate of $5 per document.  I will discount larger orders at the rate of 5 documents for $20.

Photographic Services 

Cemetery photography will cost $10 per photo or cemetery.  This price includes a CD-ROM with the photos on it, and one page of prints.  The print package can be any configuration of sizes that fits on one 8-1/2 by 11 page.

Photographic restoration will range between $20-30 per photo, depending on the degree of restoration required.  This price includes a CD-ROM with the photo on it, and two pages of prints.  The print package can be any configuration of sizes that fit on one 8-1/2 by 11 page.
